Asha and Scott… a beautiful intimate wedding
Just a couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of documenting Scott and Asha’s special day at the beautiful Yarner House at Bovey Tracey . I had not worked at this venue before but I went down a few weeks before to visit and let me tell you as I drove down the drive and was met with a stunning building and view’s for miles over Dartmoor, it was nothing but a moment that made you mouth the word “wow” . I left feeling excited for the day itself and it did not disappoint. This is a venue with so many photograph opportunities its hard to decide where to go first. I can see why Scott and Asha fell in love with it here and I can also see after spending the day with them it very much suited their vision for the day and their lovely relaxed personalities.
Asha and Scott had a small and intimate amount of guests which I just love , the whole day boasted a relaxed and chilled vibe but with plenty of things going on , live music, garden games , lovely food ( which I had the pleasure of eating and was much appreciated). Oh and let me just say virgin mojitos are now my new favourite non alcoholic drink - mmm mmmm !
Asha’s organizational skills are right up there , A vision for a very much outdoor wedding there was also a plan B in case of rain , alas we did not need to worry about that as it was a beautiful hot day from start to finish and everything these guys had in mind for their day was able to go ahead as planned. All their suppliers were fabulous the very lovely Becky Flynn on make up, H.Watts on flowers. Jackie Watson their humanist celebrant carried out a beautiful ceremony ( which Asha and Scoot beamed with smiles throughout) and live music by Rob Koral ( guitarist) and Zoe Schwarz ( vocalist) set a vibe throughout . And the caterers did an amazing job on food. And I would also like to thank Lily and Phoebe from Yarner House as they are just so lovely and welcoming , approachable and they play a massive part in the running of the day .
All in all I can not praise the day enough and Scott and Asha made me feel so welcome and appreciated , I wish we could do it all over again tee hee . I wish you guys all the very best for your future I have no doubt you are going to have many exciting adventures! Much Love
