A winter wedding at Tree Top Escape in North Devon

Just three days before Christmas Kelly and Dave got married at the very romantic wedding venue, Tree Top Escape in North Devon, a venue that looks fabulous for photos whatever the time of year. They were joined by 13 of their closest friends and family, is 13 an unlucky number?, well not for these guys as it was the perfect day filled with so much love and lot’s of laughter. I joined Kelly for the tail end of her bridal preparations, allowing me to grab some shots of the dress being buttoned up and some natural storytelling images alongside her daughter before walking across to the Nest to stand alongside her husband to be and to take those all important wedding vows. Talking of the Nest it was beautifully decorated by Marcia Shapland Event Stylist , with a beautiful floral and foliage arch , and subtle shimmers of Christmas placed around adding elegance with a festive feel. As a wedding photographer, what more could I want from a beautiful wedding in North Devon to let me capture Kelly and Dave’s amazing day.

Once the ceremony had taken place it was time for confetti and champagne , a handful of formal group photos and a little walk around the grounds for bride and groom wedding portraits. Another unique part to their day was the opportunity to feed the alpaca’s! Kelly and Dave had also supplied their guests with some sparklers for a photo opportunity before I left leaving them to to enjoy a fabulous dining experience with Cooking with Gazz.
