Hi there you lovely souls!

I'm Michelle , a North Devon wedding photographer capturing elegant, natural and timeless love stories.

My aim has always been simple: to create romantic, relaxed imagery that feels beautiful now and in decades to come. I’m drawn to honest moments — the quiet hand squeezes, the tearful glances, the laughter that bubbles up unexpectedly. The details you chose so carefully. The way you look at each other when no one else is watching.

My style is modern yet timeless, true to colour, and always centred around how your day genuinely felt.

Before photography, I spent 15 years as a preschool teacher. That experience shaped me more than I realised — patience, calmness and the ability to put people instantly at ease. It turns out those skills are invaluable on a wedding day.

I’m a farmer’s daughter at heart, which means I’m not afraid of muddy grass, climbing gates, unexpected weather or heading into the trees for the perfect shot. Welly boots are often close by. No fuss — just whatever it takes.

Couples often tell me I bring a relaxed, fun energy to the day. I’ll chat when you need distraction, step back when you need space, fix buttonholes, carry bouquets, fetch forgotten lipsticks and gently calm nerves. I’m there for the big moments — and the small ones you might not even realise are happening.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll likely find me cooking up something (I’m completely food obsessed), planning a trip somewhere with mountains and lakes, catching up on my favourite TV shows or you will find me in my garden- we have recently moved house and the garden is overlooking Devon fields and is the perfect spot for relaxing and listening to countryside sounds.

I married my husband Chris in 2018 — he’s a filmmaker and photographer himself. We work together often, and he can either join me as a second photographer or capture your day on film through Chris Catullo Photography. Working as a team means seamless coverage, more angles and a calm, experienced presence throughout the day.

Outside of work, he’s my best friend, travel companion and resident coffee maker — though occasionally responsible for leaving his shoes in exactly the wrong place.

On Your Wedding Day

I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible while still offering guidance when needed. My approach is relaxed but intentional — allowing space for moments to unfold naturally while ensuring you feel supported throughout.

If you’re drawn to timeless, elegant photography with true-to-colour imagery and a genuinely relaxed, joyful experience, we might just be the perfect fit.

I’d love to hear your plans.
